Shaping cooperation

InterCard assists the universities with the introduction and works closely with public transport consultants so that a solution that is effective, inexpensive and sensible for all parties is worked out.

Low cost

No new machines are required for issuing the e-ticket, because the existing infrastructure of the universities can be used to integrate the electronic ticket.

Forgery-proof

The e-ticket is forgery-proof because it is not only printed on the outside of the student ID, but is also encrypted and stored on the chip.

Chipcard and visual inspection of the e-ticket

In addition to the e-ticket on the chip of the student ID, the logo of the transport association is printed on the thermal rewrite strip. For example, the companies in the network that do not have suitable chip control technology can still visually check the e-ticket on the student ID.

Thanks to a special individualization of the data and an asymmetrical encryption process, the e-ticket is safe from any type of forgery. Nevertheless, the control devices do not require a security module (SAM). A second ID is also not required for inspection.

E-ticket standard

The e-ticket in the student ID complies with the standards of the Association of German Transport Companies (VDV) and is therefore 100% compatible with the control devices that are already in use on buses and trains.

For student, employee and service cards

The e-ticket can be integrated into all electronic student, employee and service ID cards based on smartMX from NXP. This means that the e-ticket can also be uploaded and printed on the employee ID cards of large companies or authorities.
