Online access readers
Interconnected access readers permit secure, centrally controlled access control by means of real-time monitoring.
The user holds his or her identification medium in front of the reader and the central control unit checks the authorisation in the background. The access rights can be granted individually for every user.

A large selection of readers with a variety of functions and designs will fulfil almost every requirement.
If required you can also implement biometric readers like fingerprint or hand-vein scanners or the reading of barcodes.
Installation is carried out via surface mounting or full integration into switch programs, lifts and door communications installations.
Offline access components
Interior and exterior doors can be included in the access control without the use of cables – offline. In this case, conventional locking cylinders are replaced by battery-powered electronic locking cylinders or door fittings.
The new locks can be opened with an identification medium.

Access via daily code or radio
Each individual offline locking cylinder or door fitting not only checks the access rights but also the daily code. The code is written onto the identification medium every day via an online access reader or terminal, if it is to continue to be granted access to the door in question.
Alternatively, the doors can also be interconnected via radio. Access authorisation can then be awarded or withdrawn at all times in a flexible manner. Bookings and battery levels can be checked directly.

The access control system can be controlled and checked from anywhere via app. Individual access points can easily be opened or locked and the state of the system monitored.
The access points are controlled directly from the smartphone via the control center; the chip card is not required in this case. If necessary, the personal PIN is requested.

Control centers
The access control centers take over the management of the entire access system. The signals from the various terminals, door controls, lifts and intruder alarm systems are processed here.
From 1 door (can be installed in a standard flush-mounted box) up to 16 doors (for 19 inch racks) can be controlled with just one access control center, depending on the model.
Control software
With the dedicated access control software package all master data, access points, authorisations and identification media can be centrally managed and controlled.
As a result of the real-time monitoring of doors and the recording of events, data with a wide range of evaluation options are available. The bidirectional KNX interface can be used to connect the access control system with factory master control systems.
Mobile Terminal
With the mobile terminal the access authorisation of a person can be checked anywhere and if appropriate the owner of the identification medium can be granted access. The integrated RFID reader processes chipcards of all current technologies.
Possible areas of application are attendance counts, checking of exam admissions and e-tickets, registering entries and exits and recording logistics data.
